The fused glass pendant is dichroic glass and was fired in my home studio. It has been properly kiln-fired and annealed for superior strength and durability. The peyote beaded bezel was created with size 11 Japanese Delicas and size 15 rocaille seed beads.
The 16" (40.7cm) necklace was created with right angle weave stitch using size 11 seed beads. Size 15 rocailles were added as embellishment on all sides.

I named this necklace "Inspiration" because of how I felt when I saw the Czech glass button in the Etsy shop of CrazyCakes.
The Czech button with the peyote stitched beaded bezel is 1 3/4" (4.5cm) in diameter. The complete necklace is 18" (45.2cm") in length. THIS NECKLACE HAS BEEN SOLD.
Inspiration began life as a button but I wanted to use it as a pendant, so I cut off the wire shank on the back and filed it until it was smooth. Then I created a beaded triangle to fit inside the bezel on the back, making it reversible. On the front you see the lovely button and on the back a unique beadwoven triangle.
The beaded rope chain was created with the spiral herringbone stitch using tiny size 15 rocaille glass seed beads in three different colors that match the Japanese size 11 seed beads in the bezel and bail. It took me 12 hours to complete the beaded rope chain on this necklace. I was able to finish 1 1/2" (4cm) of the rope per hour. It was a work of love.

This necklace was created as an entry into the Step By Step Bead Magazine Colorworks contest. The rules were simple: Create a piece of bead jewelry using the tertiary colors of purple, green and orange.
I chose to use one of my polymer clay donuts created using the mokume gane technique. I created it in one of my crazier moments and had no idea how I would ever use it. Then the contest came along.
I created 51 peyote stitched beaded beads out of several different purple, green and orange colors using size 11 Japanese seed beads. I combined them with triangle glass beads, square glass beads, faceted glass beads and black spacer beads - all approximately 4mm in size. I strung them on several strands of Nymo D thread and connected them to a 3 strand silver plated clasp.
The pendant slides onto the necklace and is removeable.
The necklace is 16" (40.7cm) in length and 1/2" (12 cm) wide. The pendant is 1 1/2" (3.8cm) in diameter and hangs down 3" (7.7cm).

This necklace was created by stitching a beaded bezel around an abalone shell using Japanese silver size 11 seed beads and size 15 rocaille beads. The "chain" was made with a spiral stitch and the handmade clasp with peyote stitch.
The necklace is 16" (40.7cm) in length and the pendant is 1 3/4" (4.5cm) in diameter.

This 18" bead woven necklace was created with four rhodocrosite cabochons and size 8, 11, and 15 seed beads using bead embroidery. The necklace chain was created using the St. Petersburg chain stitch. The largest rhodocrosite cab is 22x30mm and the three teardrop cabs are 10x15mm. The pendant measures 2.5 inches (6.5cm) long and 2 inches (5.5cm) wide. The pendant is finished on the back with offwhite ultrasuede which is securely attached with glue with beads stitched around the side.
